The Nova Scotia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Nova Scotia SPCA) is currently seeking interested individuals to serve on its volunteer Board of Directors for the Yarmouth Branch.
You can help a needy animal by sponsoring a dog or cat. All dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed and vaccinated before they leave our shelter. Our adoption fee does not cover these expenses, especially if an animal is sick, needs grooming, or isn't adopted right away.
The following items are available at our shelter and at our shelter events. As a charitable organization, all of our items are TAX FREE!

The Yarmouth Branch was the first Branch formed in 1900 with a shelter opening in 1983. The shelter has the third largest intake in the province.
