Kings Branch Adoptable Dogs
Clifford
- Age: Adult
- Gender: Male
Clifford is an energetic, playful, friendly boy who was transferred to us from the Yarmouth SPCA. He needs a bit of leash training as he does pull but he is treat oriented so he's willing to learn! Clifford hasn't had much obedience training in general so he will need to attend some classes or have a lot of time spent with him to learn. Clifford over uses his mouth as he was never broken of that when he was a pup. He needs some work and consistency so he learns that putting his mouth on people and jumping up isn't the way to get your attention or to get you to play. He doesn't do it aggresively - just play behaviour. Clifford is a little shy of strangers but takes longer to warm up to men. He has a lot of energy and would love to burn it off in a fenced in area with a ball to fetch. Clifford should not go to a home with children under 18.

Sheldon
- Age: Adult
- Gender: Male
Sheldon was brought in by a kind man and his son that were looking after him for a little while. He is a runner - he ran from his previous home to this mans house and unfortunately the owner didn't want him back. Sheldon is a very sweet, strong little boy who loves attention and exercise. He will need a fenced in yard so he can burn off the energy he has and so he can't run around the neighbourhood anymore. This little guy pulls a little bit on the leash with his nose to the ground - typical hound!

Macey
- Age: Adult
- Gender: Female
Macey was brought into our care as her owner was moving and couldn't take her. She's a very sweet girl with a colorful past. Of course we can't be 100% sure but from the story we heard she has come a long way. Macey is a friendly gal with people and other dogs. We were told that Macey didn't like other dogs but have come to find out she's had no issues with the ones that have been walked with her so far. Macey is overweight so she should be on a diet and have lots of exercise to get her at a healthy weight. We have been told that Macey has a bad hip and tires easily from exercise. Currently we are trying to get some of that extra weight off of her to help her out a little bit.
