Bark in the Park is back, September 13th, 2014!
Mark your calendars! This year, all of the Nova Scotia SPCA Provincal Branch will be participating in Bark in the Park on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
Bark in the Park is one of our largest fundraising events, which bring hundreds of animal lovers together for a great day of food, fun and entertainment – all in support of the Nova Scotia SPCA. The Nova Scotia SPCA is a registered charity comprised of a network of Branches which rely primarily on volunteers and donations to fulfill our mission.
Brand new to Bark in the Park is the Dog Jog, a 5km run throughout the trails of Shubie Park! All participants will recieve a complimentary Dog Jog t-shirt, a participation medal and a special swag bag filled with dog friendly goodies. We encourage all the runners to stick around after so that they can partipate in Bark in the Park which begins at 11:00. Jog, walk or run, we can't wait to see you there!
Runners may sign up using the link below! The run starts at 10:00, and the entrance fee is $50.00 for adults, $30.00 for youths under 18, and $45.00 for seniors 65+.
Keep in mind that all funds raised go to the Dartmouth SPCA, so any amount over the minimum entrance fee is greatly appreciated by all the animals here at the Nova Scotia SPCA.
Bark in the Park is a fun-filled afternoon for everyone! Be sure to invite your friends, family and furry companions to come along with you.
We gurantee this event will have dogs begging for more.
