Adoption Success Stories

Koshi

I just wanted to send you guys an update on Koshi!! It's been a week now, and we are absolutely IN LOVE with him (this is obvious...how could you not love this guy?!). It took Fish (my other dog) and Koshi a little while to get adjusted...but after a week, they happily sit in the back seat of the car together, share a bed and even jump around. Although, Fish still gets upset when Koshi tries to steal his food...which happens a lot... :) He's also the biggest sook we've ever seen. He wholeheartedly, truly, just wants to be loved (and he came to the right place!). We go for big hikes off leash, and is starting to trust random people more easily. He runs his heart out...bounding over obstacles - nothing can stop him! He's great on his recall, but his attention goes quickly if there's a pretty lady-dog around. He's still nervous of the ocean water, but I have a feeling he'll come around. He also loves greating us at the door with something in his mouth, whether it's his bone, a sock, or a rubber boot...most times he just grabs whatever is closest. His favorite time of the day is definitely bed time, with a close second being adventure-time. He's learning about new treats like dried liver and peanut butter in the kong. He also has chosen a lone red chair in our house as his space, and can often be found curled up there, enjoying the sunshine or the knowledge that someone who loves him is close by. Rest assured, this dog is living the life of peace, adventure and love he deserves!

Thank you SO much for giving us the opportunity to add this guy to our family
